A New Dentist In Town

Mary Beth Ison is a twenty nine year old from Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Her father Lucas Ison owns his own practice and has been a dentist for twenty six years. Mary Beth grew up in going to her dad’s practice and worked there as a receptionist in high school. She believes that is when she fell in love with the idea of becoming a dentist.

Being involved in the processes of dentistry and coming to understand how dentistry can have an impact on people’s lives helped he love for it. Her and her father Lucas share the same passion for medicine and she has intended to follow in his footsteps for years. She eventually wants to become a Wilkes-Barre dentist.

Mary Beth did her undergraduate program at the University of Central Florida. She was involved in several activities and worked as a receptionist at another dentist’s office during her undergraduate program. Most dentists have to complete four years of a post graduate study and or five to eight years of post graduate study before being able to practice medicine.

This mainly depends on the different schools and programs which offer dentistry. Mary Beth decided to continue at her father’s alma mater and go to the University of Illinois at Chicago, school of dentistry. She graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago this past spring and is now turning in her resume to see where she can land a job.

Mary Beth is engaged to Brian Farmer a native to Pennsylvania and has been looking primarily in that area. She is now registered with the state of Pennsylvania’s placement program exclusively for dentists. She had to fill out a form and mail it in.

She had to fill out a form and mail it in. Marry Beth is currently applying to become part for her dental licensure from the Pennsylvania State Board of Dentistry. She is eagerly anticipating being able to practice medicine.
