Rejuvenation of the body and mind are important aspects in maintaining a stress free busy life. Using these three easy meditation techniques will help you accomplish this in a small amount of time in your busy day.
1. The first and easiest out of the three is a techniques referred to as mantra meditation. This technique works with repeating of natural sounds or repetitive words. Examples include heartbeats, running water from a creek or fountain and a chant that you keep repeating to yourself. These can be very simple for you to begin. While saying the chant or hearing the sounds, regulate your breathing until it is in tune with these sounds or chants. Soon you will start to feel the relaxation taking hold and feel revived and relaxed. Normally this is done for about 15 minutes.
This is one of the most used in easy meditation techniques. You will need to do this in a space were you feel safe and undisturbed. Get into a comfortable sitting position and keep eyes closed. Get rid of any thoughts you may be having, make your mind a clean slate. Take a very deep breath and do not exhale until a three count. Now exhale and keep it going for a six count. You should repeat this for as long as 30 minutes or until you feel the desired level of relaxation.
This last techniques is referred to as the glowing bubble meditation. Imagine a goal you want to reach. Imagine yourself reaching this goal. Visualize this in your minds eye, see it happening. Now a glowing blue bubble envelops your goal and you visualize the bubble holding your vision drifting away into space. In your mind keep a strong view of this goal being achieved, take a deep breathe and see the glowing bubble float into the cosmos. This means your goal is gathering energy to manifest itself into your life and soon will come to fruition.
Using any meditation techniques regularly or combined with yoga is a great way of keeping your spirit and mind as healthy as they can be.
