An increasingly popular way of thanking a customer for his loyalty to the organization is to give a nice corporate gift. However, you can also give gifts like a plaque, which is widely accepted as a mark of gratitude and admiration.
You must remember that the same gift should not be given again to the same client. A repetitive gift can in no way have the same effect on a client. For instance, if a calendar has already been gifted to a customer, the next time go for something different like a pen holder. But ensure that the gift is always appealing and has some usefulness.
You must never neglect the quality aspect, as it can tarnish the company’s image among the customers. However, you should also keep your expenditure in mind. While presenting a costly gift might look good, spending a lot on it is not prudent. You will create expectations of an equally costly gift in future, which is never a good idea.
