I want to share a very simple tip with you today that will help you look your best. The tip is this: keep you clothes looking nice!

It’s a very simple concept, but a lot of us don’t really do it! We come home from a long day and throw our clothes in the corner. Or we wash our clothes every other day and wear them out quicker than we should.

So why should you even care about taking good care of your clothing? Well, if you look good in your clothes and you know it, you’ll do better at work, in relationships, and anything else. There is something about looking good (and knowing it!) that makes us do better. So if you take care of your clothes they’ll take care of you.

So here are a few simple tips you can use to keep your clothes looking nice

1- Wash only when you need to. You really don’t have to wash your clothes after each time you wear them. The more you wash your clothes the faster they are going to wear out on you.

2- Use cold water detergent. Not only will you save on your gas bill, but cotton clothing tends to hold up better when you wash it in cold water.

3- Use better hangers. If you’re just using wire hangers you’re probably damaging the shoulders of your clothes. Use wider hangers, especially for jackets, coats, and nicer shirts.

4- Hang your clothes instead of fold them. Your clothes will also look better if you hang them instead of fold them and cram them into a drawer.

These are very easy tips to implement. Start today and you’ll find your clothes last longer than they used to.
