Good management and the power to organize affairs are important skills an undertaker should possess. Many services will have to be organized by the undertaker and this will need good communication and management skills from the undertaker.
Legalities and other official formalities to be followed in case of a death should be known to the undertaker who will have to get the requisite approvals etc for the funeral proceedings and other related things. The critical regulations and formalities to be followed to get a death certificate or to make valid insurance claims must also be known to him.
Lastly, an undertaker must know how to drive and must possess an appropriate driving license, as he may be required to drive vehicles to transport the deceased.
